Setup Access-Sever



Step 1: set up base configuration

Router#enable
Router#conf t
Router(config)#hostname Access-Server
Access-Server(config)#enable Secret s
Access-Server(config)# no ip domain-lookup
Access-Server(config)#service password-encryption
Access-Server(config)#line console 0
Access-Server(config-line)#logging synchronous
Access-Server(config-line)#exec-timeout 0 0
Access-Server(config-line)#line vty 0 4
Access-Server(config-line)#logging synchronous
Access-Server(config-line)#password v
Access-Server(config-line)#transport input telnet
Access-Sever(config-line)#line 1 16
Access-Server(config-line)#exec-timeout 0 0
Access-Server(config-line)#transport input telnet
Access-Server(config-line)#end
Access-Server# wr
Setp2: set up lop0 ip address also configure the e0/0 with IP address 192.168.99.1 255.255.255.248 the reason we /29 because we don't need more than 8 host  
Access-Server#Access-Sever(config)#interface lo0
Access-Server(config-if)#ip address 192.168.99.6 255.255.255.248
Access-Server(config)#interface ethernet0
Access-Server(config-if)#ip address 192.168.99.1 255.255.255.248
Access-Server(config-if)#no shut
Run show run ip interface brief

Step3: configure Ip host address using the loop interface

R1-R4, Sw1-Sw8 are the name of your router or Switch. 
2001-2008 they are port number look at the picture below we see 1-8 the number on yellow cap
2001  mean we connect cable 1 to connect to  R1 and so on

Check connection
